Jiangsu Ocean Shipping's vessel Meitai sailed from Nanjing Port's Longtan terminal on 26 August for Batangas, launching the Jiangsu Provincial Port Group's Nanjing-Philippines container service with household appliances, electronics and general chemicals aboard. It is the fourth RCEP short-sea route from the port after the Thailand-Vietnam, Indonesia and East India services, filling the gap for direct Yangtze-to-Philippines boxes.
