Air cargo rates ease to US$3.13/kg as capacity recovers

WorldACD week 27 (June 29-July 5) showed worldwide average air cargo rates at US$3.13/kg (-1% WoW) and spot at US$3.62/kg (-2%), helped by lower fuel and recovered capacity now ~2% above pre-conflict levels. Asia-Pacific-to-US spot was US$6.83/kg (-3%); Hong Kong-Europe fell 12% after the EU de-minimis change, while Taiwan-Europe rose ~20% on AI equipment.
