Haijie Shipping's China-Europe Arctic Express (CAX) moved into weekly summer-season operation from 15 August, deploying seven to eight vessels of 1,740-4,890 TEU with at least eight sailings planned inside the July-October ice window. The first sailing loaded battery storage units, power batteries and new energy vehicles at Ningbo-Zhoushan before calling Shanghai, Taicang and Qingdao. Korea and India are preparing their own Arctic trials.
