Windward's June 20 daily intelligence report shows just 32 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz (17 inbound, 15 outbound), of which 11 were dark transits without AIS. The vessel mix was dominated by tankers (11), bulk carriers (7), and cargo ships (14), with traffic skewed toward Chinese and Indian state operators. 193 vessels in the Gulf were affected by GPS interference, concentrated in Kuwait and UAE EEZs. 120 vessels were classified as high-risk for smuggling. Two AIS identity-splitting incidents were detected where real vessel signals were spoofed to Null Island (0 degrees N, 0 degrees E). Despite the re-closure, Kharg Island saw 3 sanctioned VLCCs resume loading for the first time in about 14 days, suggesting limited Iranian crude export activity.
