UPS revises brokerage fees from 7 Sep: disbursement rises to 2.5%, entry-line reset

Effective 7 September, UPS reset its disbursement fee to 2.5% of duties/taxes paid on a shipper's behalf, with a $17.50 minimum, and changed the entry-line charge so only the first five lines are free, then $3.50 per line thereafter. A revised Surge Emergency Fee for US exports and imports also takes effect 27 September. Importers should reprice cleared shipments and tighten entry data.
