Hapag-Lloyd and ZIM add AS3 weekly loop linking five China ports to Brazil's east coast

Summary

Hapag-Lloyd and ZIM said on 19 August they will launch a weekly Asia-East Coast South America service from 13 September, named AS3 by Hapag-Lloyd and ZFS by ZIM. The rotation runs Shanghai-Ningbo-Xiamen-Hong Kong-Yantian to Rio Grande, Paranagua, Itajai, Santos and Rio de Janeiro, with the first westbound sailing leaving Shanghai on 14 September and ample reefer plugs. Existing AS2 and ASE loops stay unchanged.
