DHL Group has unveiled an ambitious expansion of its New Energy logistics division, targeting revenue growth from approximately 600 million euros in 2025 to 3 billion euros by 2030-a fivefold increase. The strategy centers on EV battery logistics, with a new 17,000-square-meter Battery Logistics Hub under construction in Holtum, Netherlands (operational by early 2027), and over 20 global EV Centers of Excellence already in operation, including a flagship facility in Meung-sur-Loire, France. DHL Express has also launched a Time Definite Plus service covering 22 European countries for time-critical battery and energy equipment shipments, offering timed delivery and swap-and-return options.
