KONGSBERG has successfully delivered a new Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) solution for Great Belt VTS in Denmark, supporting safe and efficient traffic management through one of Europe’s busiest straits and providing information services to vessels passing the Great Belt Bridge. The contract was awarded by DALO, the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation. The solution features KONGSBERG’s Foresight software family for maritime domain awareness, integrated with existing radar and CCTV infrastructure. KONGSBERG will also provide long-term Managed Services support ensuring continuity, reliability and lifecycle support for the system.
